GDPR / CCPA / PIPEDA Compliance
Effective Date: July 3, 2026
Flow-Entertainment complies with applicable data protection laws in the regions where Flow is available, including:
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — European Union / European Economic Area.
- The UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 — United Kingdom.
- The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA) — California, USA.
- The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) — Canada.
1. Key Compliance Measures
- Data processing agreements with our service providers (sub-processors), consistent with Article 28 GDPR.
- Support for the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data (see our Data Deletion & Portability Policy).
- Explicit consent for processing sensitive categories of data, including biometric data used for identity verification (Article 9 GDPR).
- A documented, auditable consent-management process (see our Consent Management Policy).
- Appropriate safeguards for any international transfer of personal data.
- A defined data-retention schedule (see our Data Retention Policy) and breach-notification process (see our Data Security Policy).
2. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
- We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
- California residents may request to know, delete, or correct their personal information, and may designate an authorised agent to submit requests on their behalf.
3. Canadian Residents (PIPEDA)
We collect, use, and disclose personal information only with consent and for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate, and provide access to personal information on request, consistent with PIPEDA's fair information principles.
4. UK Residents
UK users have the same core rights as EU users under the UK GDPR, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
