Age Verification Policy

Effective Date: July 3, 2026

Flow is restricted to users aged 18 and over. This Policy describes how we check age at sign-up. Our broader eligibility rule is set out in the Age Restriction Policy (18+).

1. Age Gate

At sign-up, every user must affirmatively confirm they are 18 years of age or older before an account can be created.

2. Verification Steps

• Phone number verification: we send a one-time code by SMS to confirm you control the phone number provided.

• Selfie / liveness check: a short, live capture is used to confirm you are a real, present person and to support age-estimation and duplicate-account checks, processed by our identity-verification partner.

• On supported iOS devices, we additionally use Apple's declared age range capability where available.

3. What We Do Not Require

We do not require you to upload a copy of a passport, national ID card, or driver's licence, and we do not scan physical ID documents (including via NFC) as part of this flow.

4. If Age Cannot Be Confirmed

If our checks indicate a user may be under 18, or if we otherwise learn a user is under 18, the account is suspended and the associated data is deleted in line with our Data Retention Policy.

5. Data Handling

Verification session data is processed under the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy and Data Security Policy. Results are used only for eligibility and safety purposes and are not shared with other users or used for advertising.
