How does verification work?+

Can I report or block someone?+
Yes. You can block, hide, or report a profile from within the app. Reports are reviewed by a human moderation team.
Do I have to do a video call?+
No. First Impressions is a mutual option, so it only starts when both people agree.
What if I feel unsafe on a date?+
Contact local emergency services first. flōw’s in-app safety features support your decisions, but cannot replace emergency help.

ID & selfie verification
Choose an ID and live selfie check during onboarding or later in Settings. A successful check earns a Verified badge. Photo screening runs on every upload, while reporting and moderation help us address suspicious accounts.
Verified badge
Verified accounts carry a gold badge by default. Premium members can customize its color with either billing option.
Photo moderation
Every profile, story, and chat photo is automatically screened for nudity, violence, hate symbols, drugs or weapons, spam, and any signal of a minor, before anyone else can see it.
Screenshot prevention
Screenshots are blocked throughout the entire app, protecting your private conversations and shared media from being copied.
Scam & content filters
flōw detects international phone numbers and bank or card details in chat and warns you before you send, plus a bad-word filter, all processed locally on your device.
End-to-end encryption
Use the in-app chat after a Meet Request is accepted. Warnings help you pause before sharing sensitive details.

Real-life stories, safety tips, privacy info, and scam awareness, plus one tap to block or report.
Report with evidence
Report with a categorized reason and free-text detail, backed by protected screenshots that can't be re-shared, even though screenshots are blocked everywhere else.
Strike system
Every report is reviewed by a real moderator, not just a filter. Violations get a graduated strike, a warning, then a temporary or permanent ban, with automatic email notifications.
First Impressions
A 10-minute video call, started only by mutual agreement, to see and hear someone before you meet in person.
